MGA Asia Insurance Brokers is a joint venture between MGA Insurance Brokers — one of the top 10 insurance brokerages in Australia, established in Adelaide in 1975 — and two highly qualified local partners, Executive Chairman Meas Sophat and Executive Director Seng Chanthol, both Chartered Insurers credentialed by the Chartered Insurance Institute of the United Kingdom.
MGA Insurance Brokers opened its first overseas office in Cambodia in early 2014, officially obtaining the Insurance Brokers License from the Ministry of Economy and Finance in July 2014. The Cambodia office was conceived as a launching pad into Southeast Asia, with Chairman John George citing significant growth opportunities across Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.
MGA Asia is also pioneering digital insurance in Cambodia through its InsurTech platform MGA Cover, designed to make insurance simple, transparent, and reliable — allowing clients to purchase policies, make payments, file claims, and renew cover entirely online.
