Affinity Star Insurance Brokers was established in 2014 as a joint venture between Singapore’s Star Investment Group and Cambodian Investment Management Holdings (CIM), two complementary forces combining Singaporean fintech ambition with one of Cambodia’s most respected financial services groups. The company is co-led by Javier Neo and CIM Group CEO Anthony Galliano, who also serves on the Management Committee of the Cambodian Insurance Brokers Association (CIBA).
Affinity Star differentiates itself through a strong commitment to consumer education and digital innovation, looking to online insurance, financial technology and blockchain as tools to make insurance simple, convenient and accessible to as many individuals and businesses as possible, including in Cambodia’s provinces. Unlike CIM’s previous agency model, Affinity Star operates as a fully independent broker, offering insurance policies from every insurer in Cambodia across general and specialised lines, with a current core focus on manufacturing sector clients.
